“Free Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.” (Psalm 24:15)

Meditatio
Meditate on the tribulations that the Holy Land is currently facing. Throughout history, Israel has endured numerous challenges, both physical and spiritual, yet it remains a nation under God’s protection as long as it walks within His will.

Meditate on the fact that in moments of great trial, whether they be external attacks or internal struggles, the hope for deliverance always lies in God’s hands.

Meditate on the tribulations that afflict the land today—violence, war, fear, division—and the deep need for divine intervention. The plea in this psalm echoes the longing for peace, justice, and security that Israel has always sought.

Oratio
O Lord God, free Israel from all his tribulations. You alone are the source of peace and deliverance. Grant Your protection and strength to those in distress. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your mercy heal the land. Comfort those who mourn, give courage to those who defend the innocent, and guide the leaders to act in wisdom and truth. Amen.

Contemplatio
Contemplate the deep suffering Israel has endured throughout its history, and consider the current pain. Hold Israel in your heart, and trust in Yahweh’s abiding presence.

Contemplate on the fact that God sees the suffering, hears the prayers, and will, in His time, bring relief from all tribulations. Trust in Yahweh’s wisdom and His power to free those in distress, even when the situation seems dire.

Actio
Spiritually, this verse invites us to continue praying for Israel and for peace in the world, offering intercession for those suffering from violence and instability. Practically, it challenges us to seek ways to support efforts for peace and justice, whether through charitable work, advocacy, or simply being a voice of reason and compassion in our communities. Let this prayer stir your heart to both pray and act, seeking the good of those enduring hardship today.

Please pray for peace and safety in the Holy Land. (info)
