“O Yahweh, I have loved the beauty of your house and the dwelling place of your glory.” (Psalm 25:8)

Meditatio
Consider David’s deep love for the house of Yahweh and what it represents. Meditate on the significance of God’s dwelling place, whether it be the temple in ancient times or the church today, where His presence is felt in a unique way.

Meditate on the beauty of God’s holiness, His majesty, and the peace found in His presence.

Meditate on your own love for the place where God dwells. Do you cherish time spent in God’s house, whether in prayer, worship, or quiet reflection? How do you respond to the beauty of God’s presence?

Meditate on how you can cultivate a deeper love for the Lord’s presence in your life, whether through attending church, spending time in prayer, or seeking out moments of quiet communion with Him.

Oratio
O Lord, I love the beauty of Your house and the peace that comes from being in Your presence. Your glory fills the place where You dwell, and I long to be close to You. Help me to always cherish the time I spend in Your presence, and may my heart be drawn ever closer to You. Fill my soul with a love for Your beauty and for the holiness of Your dwelling place, so that I may always seek to be near You. Amen.

Contemplatio
In contemplation, envision yourself standing in the house of the Lord, surrounded by the beauty of His presence and glory. Let your heart rest in the peace and holiness of God’s dwelling place. Feel the deep love that is expressed in this passage, and let that love fill your heart as you bask in the glory of God.

Contemplate the joy and beauty of being in God’s presence, and let that experience draw you closer to Him. As you dwell on this, let your soul be filled with gratitude and love for God, who allows you to come into His house and experience His glory.

Actio
Let this verse inspire you to make time for God’s presence in your daily life. Whether through attending Mass, visiting a church, or setting aside quiet time for prayer, seek out opportunities to be in God’s dwelling place. Reflect on the beauty of His presence, and let that love shape your actions. Make a conscious effort to bring the peace and holiness you experience in God’s house into your daily interactions with others, allowing the beauty of His glory to shine through you in all you do.

Please pray for peace and safety in the Holy Land. (info)
