“For today a Saviour has been born for you in the city of David: he is the Lord, the Messiah.” (Luke 2:11)
Today, the waiting ends. The Christ child has come! The prophecies have been fulfilled, the promises kept, and the world changed forever. Jesus, the eternal Word of God, has entered time and space to save us. He is the Saviour, the Messiah, and the Lord who reigns in glory and humility.
Each Advent message has pointed us to this moment. We have meditated on the promises of God, the faithfulness of His plan, and the hope of His light breaking through the darkness. Now, the fullness of God’s love is revealed in the birth of His Son. The manger in Bethlehem cradles not just a baby but the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace, and the Redeemer of the world.
Because Christ has come, we have hope. The chains of sin are broken, death is defeated, and we are reconciled to God. No matter our struggles or the darkness we face, the light of Christ shines brighter. His birth is the dawn of a new creation, and His love is a constant assurance that God is with us—today and forever.
This Christmas Day, let us celebrate with joy and thanksgiving. The waiting of Advent leads to the rejoicing of Christmas. Christ is born! Let us proclaim this good news to all the world and carry His hope and light into every corner of our lives.
Celebrate the birth of Christ by sharing His love with others. Whether it is through a heartfelt conversation, a small gift, or an act of kindness, let your joy in Christ overflow to those around you. Take time to praise God for His faithfulness and to reflect on how you can continue to carry the light of Christ beyond this season.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for coming to us, fulfilling the promises of God, and bringing salvation to the world. You are our Redeemer and King, and we rejoice in the gift of Your birth. Fill our hearts with Your love, and help us to share the hope and joy of Christmas with all we meet. Amen.
