“My eyes are ever toward Yahweh, for he will pull my feet from the snare.” (Psalm 24:15)

Meditatio

Meditate on the image of having your eyes fixed on the Lord. Having our eyes fixed on God is a constant reliance on Him, an unwavering trust in Yahweh that He will guide and protect you. The snare symbolises the temptations, sins, and difficulties of life that can entrap us. Reflect on how God has rescued you in the past from situations that seemed hopeless, and how He continues to be your deliverer.

Oratio
Lord, my eyes are on You. Pull me from the snares that threaten my soul. Grant me the grace to stay focused on You, trusting in Your constant protection and deliverance. Amen.

Contemplatio
Picture yourself looking toward the Lord, trusting Him to deliver you from the traps and dangers that surround you. This verse expresses a deep, abiding faith in God’s saving power and a commitment to keeping focused on Him.

Contemplate the Lord’s saving hand in your life. Imagine Him pulling you out of every snare, every trap that tries to ensnare your feet. Have assurance that He is always with you, always ready to deliver you from whatever may seek to harm you. Let this thought bring you peace and hope.

Actio
Keep your spiritual eyes on the Lord today. In moments of temptation or trial, turn to Him immediately. Resolve to trust in Yahweh’s guidance and protection in every situation you face. Make every effort to avoid situations where you know there are spiritual snares and actively seek ways to grow closer to Him through prayer, Scripture, and virtuous living.

Remember that Christ is the ultimate Deliverer who pulls us from the snare of sin and death. Through His sacrifice on the Cross, He destroyed the power of sin that seeks to entrap our souls. By keeping our eyes fixed on the Lord, we are assured of His saving grace. Christ never abandons those who call upon Him; His hand is always extended to rescue us from every snare.
