Opening Prayer (for each day)
O God, who by the humble labours of Thy servant Saint Isidore didst sanctify the toil of the earth and make labour a path to Heaven, grant, we beseech Thee, that following his example we may consecrate our work, our homes, and our hearts to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Day 1 — Sanctification of Daily Work
Saint Isidore, thou didst turn the furrows of the soil as one praying with every motion of thy hand. Teach me to join prayer to labour, so that all I do may rise as incense before the Heart of Christ.
Intention: For diligence and right intention in work.
Day 2 — Faithfulness in Small Things
Faithful labourer, content with little, thou didst serve God where He placed thee. Obtain for me constancy in duty and joy in simple obedience, that I may be faithful even in the least.
Intention: For steadfastness and peace in ordinary life.
Day 3 — Charity toward the Poor
Saint Isidore, thou didst never let the hungry go unfed. Ask for me a generous heart and hands open to those in need, that my charity may console the Heart of Jesus.
Intention: For mercy toward the poor and lonely.
Day 4 — Holy Marriage and the Example of Saint María de la Cabeza
Saint Isidore and thy holy wife María de la Cabeza, united in prayer and labour, bless all Christian marriages. Obtain for spouses fidelity, patience, and shared devotion; for widowed hearts, consolation in the Sacred Heart of Christ.
Intention: For married couples, parents, and widowed souls.
Day 5 — Prayer amid Labour
Worker of Madrid, whose plough was guided by prayer, help me to remember God even in busyness. Let my toil be sanctified, my speech measured, and my silence fruitful.
Intention: For recollection and purity of heart at work.
Day 6 — Humility and Obedience
Saint Isidore, servant of servants, thou didst obey masters with serenity, and God exalted thee in due time. Teach me to accept correction without resentment and to prefer the will of God before my own.
Intention: For humility and docility to the will of God.
Day 7 — Trust in Providence
Holy Farmer, whose fields bore fruit by Heaven’s favour, obtain for me confidence in divine Providence. May I never doubt the Father’s care, even in scarcity or trial.
Intention: For faith and trust in divine Providence.
Day 8 — Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Saint Isidore, thou didst laboured in honour of our Lord. Lead me to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, pierced for love of us. May that Heart be my refuge, my rest, and my reward.
Intention: For reparation and deeper devotion to the Sacred Heart.
Day 9 — Perseverance unto Glory
Faithful till death, thou now restest in the eternal harvest. Intercede that I may persevere in grace and reap the fruits of holiness when my labour ends.
Intention: For perseverance, a holy death, and the spread of the Fraternity.
Closing Prayer (each day)
O Saint Isidore, humble worker of the fields and friend of angels, obtain for me, I pray, the grace to serve God with a pure heart and steadfast purpose. Through thy intercession may my labour, joy, and sorrow alike be offered to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, that in all things God may be glorified. Amen.
