Lectio
“Blessed is Yahweh, for he has heard the voice of my supplication. Yahweh is my helper and my protector. In him, my heart has hoped, and I have been helped. And my flesh has flourished again. And from my will, I shall confess to him.” (Psalm 27:6-7)

Meditatio
Meditate on how David praises the Lord for hearing his supplication. He acknowledges that his cry for help was answered. Think of situations in your own life—how has God heard your prayers and come to your aid? Meditate on the times when, in your need, the Lord has been your helper and protector. David’s heart overflowed with hope and trust in Yahweh, and as a result, he received the help and protection he needed. In what areas of your life do you need to place more hope in God? How can you trust Him to be your helper in times of difficulty?

David also speaks of his flesh flourishing again, indicating a renewal of life and strength. When we put our hope in the Lord, He renews us not only spiritually but also in our physical and emotional well-being. Meditate on the times when God has renewed your strength after a period of struggle or suffering. How has your hope in Yahweh brought healing and restoration?

Oratio
Blessed are You, Lord, for You have heard my voice and answered my supplications. You are my helper and protector, and in You, my heart has placed its hope. I thank You for renewing my strength and helping me in my time of need. I confess Your goodness, and I will praise You with all my will, for You are faithful and true. Continue to guide me, and may I always trust in You as my source of strength and protection, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Contemplatio
Think of yourself in the presence of the Lord, reflecting on how He has been your helper and protector throughout your life. Let a sense of gratitude fill your heart as you dwell on the times when God has heard your prayers and renewed your strength. Feel the peace that comes from placing your hope fully in God, and let this trust permeate your entire being. Remember that God is always with you, ready to help and protect you as you seek His face.

Actio
Take moments to give thanks to the Lord for the ways He has answered your prayers and helped you in times of need. Be mindful of the ways God renews your strength and protects you. Let your gratitude lead you to confess His goodness to others, sharing your testimony of how God has been your helper. Consider keeping a journal of answered prayers, so you can look back and see how the Lord has been faithful in your life, just as He was for David.

Please pray for peace and safety in the Holy Land. (info)
